The walls are closing in. It’s a feeling captured perfectly in the final promo trailer for A24’s upcoming sci-fi horror ‘Backrooms,’ starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve.
The film follows a chilling premise: Clark (Ejiofor) discovers a strange doorway in the basement of his furniture store that leads into a vast, unsettling maze—pulling both himself and his therapist, Dr. Mary Kline (Reinsve), into a mysterious and reality-bending world as she ventures into the unknown to save him.
‘Backrooms’ arrives in theaters on May 29.
