ALLBLK has officially released the trailer for the upcoming HBCU romance film The Funny Thing About Love, set to premiere June 11. The new original film brings together a cast led by Kourtney George, Courtney Burrell, Rockmond Dunbar, Jeff Logan, Jessie Woo, Bobb’e J. Thompson, Rolonda Rochelle, and Trina Braxton.
The Funny Thing About Love follows Alice and Miles as a controversial memoir stirs up the past, reigniting old emotions and exposing a long-buried secret that ultimately changed the course of their relationship. Forced to confront unresolved pain and lingering feelings, the two must face whether the love they once shared ever truly faded.
The film is directed by Tailiah Breon and written by Christel Gibson, based on a story by Kameron Bain. Producing the project are Errol Sadler, Ty Walker, Kameron Bain, and Durrann Brown.
