Production has officially wrapped on The Body Is Water, the new feature from filmmaker Vicky Wight, starring Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Isiah Whitlock Jr. in his final on-screen role.
Now in post-production, the film also features Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Stephen Rea, Aidan Quinn, Allen Leech, Eva Birthistle, Fionnula Flanagan, Bronagh Gallagher, and Maria Doyle Kennedy.
Set between Houston and the rugged coast of West Cork, the story centers on a grieving man who escapes to a quiet Irish village, where he crosses paths with an unusual young woman named Lou and quickly realizes disappearing may not be so easy.
Wight also produced the project alongside Geoff Linville, Sydney Augusta Huynh, and John Norton.
In addition to the feature, Wight recently completed the short documentary Zina, centered on tennis icon Zina Garrison. The film was executive produced by Serena Williams and is set to premiere at the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival in April 2026.
