BlkScript.com is the central hub for showcasing emerging and existing talent content (Shorts, Features, Pilots, Vertical Series, and more), The latest news stories in Black TV & Film, Screenplay submission & Film distribution, Podcasts, A Script Library, Talent Database & Production Company Database, and our very own Critic/Audience Review and Rating system.
Our platform is capable of showcasing short films, pilots, feature films, documentaries, 30 minute and 1 hour series as well as verticals and microdramas. Projects can be screened both publicly and privately, behind a paywall (optional), and can be home to your project after your festival run is complete. This allows for an opportunity for more awareness and exposure as well as utilizing our media services to further promote your content to our expansive audience.
We showcase the latest upcoming film and tv trailers keeping our audiences up to date to whats to come, while our real-time growing talent database displays all of the beautiful black faces that make up independent filmmakers and the TV and Film industry today. Our partnership with Shannan E. Johnson’s The Professional Pen allows for writers to submit their screenplays for evaluation through thier effective services.
New and familiar faces are constantly being added to our expanding talent and production company databases which serve as an informational repository to learn and reflect on the amount of talent and capability that currently exists amongst our community of creatives.
We have introduced podcasts to our network which include our informative interview series, BLK Storytellers, and The Watchers and have already made partnerships with Any Day Now podcast and Sista Brunch podcast. We have the capability to present both audio and video formats and will be bringing actor-led audio series to the platform soon!
Season 2 of our talent discovery series, Blind Sides will be returning soon where emerging actors and writers are discovered and act out a scene written by the writer and get valuable feedback from a different celebrity guest judge every episode allowing for more exposure.
Our new review section allows for both Critics and Audience scores, reviews, and is made available for Films, TV, and Theater. When you create an account and log in, you can leave reviews, add to your watchlist, and showcase which films you have already watched under your account.
Within our 3 years of existence, we have grown tremendously and it’s in part to our expanding team, and the countless individuals and companies that we have fostered relationships and partnered with.
