First Look: Djimon Hounsou, Whitney Peak, And Phoebe Dynevor Star In Netflix’s ‘Thrash,’ Premiering April 10
Shark-infested waters are making their way to Netflix! The upcoming survival thriller ‘Thrash’ premieres April 10 and stars Djimon Hounsou, Whitney Peak, and Phoebe Dynevor in a deadly fight to stay alive.
The film follows a coastal town in South Carolina that is suddenly struck by a Category 5 hurricane. When the levees break, massive flooding sweeps through the area, bringing with it deadly bull sharks on the hunt for human prey.
Hounsou plays Dr. Dale Edwards, an oceanic researcher, while Peak stars as Dakota, his agoraphobic niece. Dynevor rounds out the ensemble as Lisa, a pregnant woman forced to navigate the dangerous floodwaters while evading vicious bull sharks.
Additional cast members include Alyla Browne, Dante Ubaldi, and Stacy Clausen, who portray siblings trying to survive as rising waters ravage their town.
‘Thrash’ is written and directed by Tommy Wirkola and produced by Adam McKay.
