During a recent interview with Collider, Andy and Barbara Muschietti revealed that there will in fact be more of It: Welcome to Derry.
“Yeah, it is going to be official,” Barbara Muschietti said. The process, however, is a slow one. “We’re all working towards it. We are working, the studio is working. It’s just that we want to make it real, and we need the material.”
Muschietti went on to mention studio delays and working out deals that often add to hold ups in production but, that a season 2 will happen and that it’s not an if but a when.
