Mindy Kaling is bringing a new comedy to Hulu with Not Suitable for Work, a coming-of-age series set in New York City that follows a group of young adults trying to navigate careers, relationships, and the chaos of figuring out life.
Among the standout cast members are Jay Ellis, Ego Nwodim, and Nicholas DuVernay.
Ellis stars as Bill Gibson, a polished and highly successful investment banker known for being one of the top earners at his firm. Nwodim plays Kate Woodson, the assistant head of an elite all-girls private school in Manhattan. DuVernay takes on the role of Kel Washington, a medical student balancing academic pressure while chasing his dream of becoming an actor.
With Kaling once again centering young adulthood, ambition, and personal identity, Not Suitable for Work looks poised to deliver another sharp and relatable ensemble comedy.
The series premieres June 2 on Hulu.
