John Turturro, Giancarlo Esposito, And Will Price Star In ‘The Only Living Pickpocket In New York’
From pocket watching to picking pockets, that’s the driving force behind ‘The Only Living Pickpocket in New York,’ which reunites John Turturro and Giancarlo Esposito on the streets of the big city. Turturro headlines Noah Segan’s new crime drama alongside Esposito and Will Price, with Sony Pictures Classics releasing the official trailer ahead of its fall release.
The story follows Harry Lehman (Turturro), a pickpocket well past his prime, working a New York City that’s left his trade behind. Cash-stuffed wallets have given way to easily canceled credit cards, leaving Harry scraping by while caring for his disabled wife, Rosie (Karina Arroyave). But when he unknowingly lifts and sells off a high-value USB drive, Harry finds himself racing against the clock to return it before a vengeful crime family catches up with him first.
Written and directed by Noah Segan, the film’s ensemble cast also includes Tatiana Maslany, Victoria Moroles, Steve Buscemi, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Check out the official trailer here. ‘The Only Living Pickpocket in New York’ arrives in theaters nationwide on October 30.
