Looks like ‘Paradise’ star Krys Marshall is traveling from the bunker to the animated world of ‘Toy Story.’ The acclaimed actress has officially joined the voice cast of the fifth installment of Pixar Animation Studios’ hit franchise.
Marshall joins returning stars Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Tom Hanks as Woody, and Joan Cusack as Jessie, as the toys face a new high-tech threat. She’ll voice a mother caught in the chaos of her child’s latest obsession amid a battle between the traditional toys and a new Lilypad (voiced by franchise newcomer Greta Lee).
Additional newcomers include Craig Robinson as Atlas, Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants, Matty Matheson as Dr. Nutcase, Shelby Rabara as Snappy, and Mykal-Michelle Harris as Blaze.
The role also reunites Marshall with Oscar-winning director Andrew Stanton following their work on Apple TV+’s ‘For All Mankind.’
Catch Krys Marshall in ‘Toy Story 5’ when it hits theaters on June 19.
