MACRO Film Studios has officially expanded its partnership with Sony Pictures through a new multi-year agreement that includes first-look rights, co-financing, and distribution.
The deal signals a continued push to develop bold, culturally driven projects with strong global appeal. It also builds on a relationship that began with Roman J. Israel, Esq. and has grown steadily over time.
Recent collaborations include the critically praised One of Them Days, starring Keke Palmer and SZA—with a sequel already in the works—as well as the animated film GOAT, which has earned $160 million worldwide.
