Michael B. Jordan's Obsidianworks Reclaims Independence After Buying Back Minority Stake In The Company
Obsidianworks is stepping back into full independence after buying back the minority stake previously held by Endeavor’s agency 160over90, ending a partnership that began in 2021.
Founded by Michael B. Jordan and former Nike executive Chad Easterling, the marketing and creative agency says the move is aimed at accelerating its next phase of growth while doubling down on its focus on what it calls “New Money America.”
Easterling, who leads the company as CEO, emphasized that the buyback was always part of the long-term plan—not the result of any issues within the partnership.
