Amazon MGM Studios is expanding its partnership with Michael B. Jordan and Outlier Society with three major television projects officially moving forward for Prime Video: Fourth Wing, The Greatest, and Delphi.
Leading the lineup is the highly anticipated adaptation of Fourth Wing, based on the bestselling fantasy series by Rebecca Yarros. The series will be executive produced by Jordan alongside Lisa Joy, who is also set to direct the premiere episode. Meredith Averill will serve as showrunner and writer for the adaptation. The project is being developed as a long-term franchise, with plans to adapt the remaining books in the Empyrean saga across multiple seasons.
Jordan also unveiled new footage from The Greatest, a limited series centered on the life and rise of Muhammad Ali. The series will chronicle Ali’s transformation from Cassius Clay into one of the most influential athletes in history. Jaalen Best stars as Ali, while Lonnie Ali appeared alongside Jordan during the presentation to support the project.
Rounding out the slate is Delphi, the first television series connected to the Creed universe. The drama follows a young Latino boxer from East Los Angeles attempting to earn his place inside the elite Delphi boxing program that helped shape Adonis Creed. The series comes from Ryan Coogler and showrunner Marco Ramirez, with production scheduled to begin May 18 in Los Angeles.
