Director Okema T. Moore and producer Guneet Singh are bringing What Kim Saw, a new vertical thriller series set to premiere on Juccee Shorts.
Written by Marquelle Young, the series follows a woman whose isolation becomes both her greatest obstacle and her unexpected strength when she witnesses a child abduction from inside her home. As authorities dismiss her account and the media portrays the missing girl as a runaway, she is forced to confront a disturbing connection between the crime and her own past.
Logline: An agoraphobic woman who hasn’t left her house in years becomes the only witness to a child abduction. But when police dismiss her and the media labels the victim a runaway, she uncovers a chilling pattern tied to her own past, and must step outside for the first time to stop a predator before another girl disappears…
Moore serves as director and team lead, with Singh producing. Designed for Juccee Shorts’ vertical format, What Kim Saw combines suspense with a socially relevant story centered on trauma, isolation, and the consequences of being ignored when speaking up.
