The Pynk is back open for business—one last time! Starz has unveiled the official teaser for the third and final season of ‘P-Valley,’ the drama series created by Pulitzer-winning playwright Katori Hall and based on her acclaimed stage play. The final chapter kicks off December 4 with a special two-episode premiere.
According to the official logline, the arrival of the new Promised Land Casino brings a flood of wealth and fresh chaos to Chucalissa. As dreamers, schemers, ballers, and shot-callers flock to town chasing a massive payday, the stakes reach an all-time high. At The Pynk, Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan) sets her sights on expanding her territory, while Roulette (Gail Bean) breaks a sacred club rule to stake her own claim. Meanwhile, Lil’ Murda (J. Alphonse Nicholson) struggles under the weight of his gang affiliations, and Keyshawn (Shannon Thornton) fights to escape her ongoing confinement.
The core ensemble returns for the farewell season, led by Nicco Annan as Uncle Clifford, Brandee Evans as Mercedes, Shannon Thornton as Keyshawn, and J. Alphonse Nicholson as Lil’ Murda. The cast also features Harriett D. Foy, Dan J. Johnson, Gail Bean, Psalms Salazar, Morocco Omari, Dominic DeVore, Jordan M. Cox, Thomas Q. Jones, Bertram Williams Jr., Mea Wilkerson, and Loretta Devine.
Series creator Katori Hall continues her role as showrunner and executive producer for the Lionsgate Television production. Joining her as co-executive producers are Jennifer Arnold, Debbie Hayn-Cass, Kemiyondo Coutinho, and Ian Olympio. In a heartfelt letter to fans accompanying the announcement, Hall expressed deep gratitude to the audience for their support over the show’s 17-year journey from stage to screen. Calling the three-season run a “visual novel of 27 chapters” and her “finest work,” she shared that ending the series on her own terms allows her to deliver a farewell designed to celebrate the community built around the show.
Following the two-episode debut on December 4, the remaining episodes of the nine-episode season will drop weekly on Fridays across the Starz app as well as all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms.
