Brother, Sing, a new short film by Deontae B. Suede, is our current RALLY spotlight, and we need you moving on this NOW.
Here’s why this one matters:
It’s a quiet Southern Saturday. 16-year-old Micah is being made to prepare for tomorrow’s church solo. Phone gone. Distractions gone. Just him, his voice, and the weight of what’s waiting. But the weekend becomes bigger than a solo — it becomes a chance for two brothers to close the distance love has left between them.
This is a story about Black boys and Black men being allowed to be tired. To grieve. To be uncertain. To love without always knowing the words. Not one-dimensional. Not archetypes. Just people — the way we actually are at home.
Deontae is shooting November 6-8 in Atlanta. The goal is $5,000. That’s it. Every dollar goes straight into making this happen — and this short is designed as proof of concept for a full feature. What you fund here becomes the foundation for something much bigger.
WHY YOU RALLY NOW:
🎬 The shoot is weeks away, not months. This funding round is time-sensitive.
🎬 $5K is a real, reachable number — your $10, $25, $50 moves the needle immediately.
🎬 This is the kind of Black storytelling that only exists when the community makes it exist. No studio is greenlighting quiet, tender films about Black brotherhood on their own.
🎬 Backing early builds momentum that attracts bigger eyes — distributors, streamers, future investors.

This is what RALLY was built for.
Our stories. Our voices. Our point of view.
