Samuel L. Jackson stars opposite Joel Kinnaman (Suicide Squad) in ‘The Beast,’ an upcoming action thriller penned by Extraction writer Umair Aleem and directed by Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger).
In the high-stakes thriller, a militia of unidentified hostiles coordinates a coup against the United States, forcing the President (Jackson) to unleash the highly classified, offensive capabilities of his presidential limousine—codenamed “The Beast.” Separated from his wife, the President must master the state-of-the-art vehicle—and confront the monster within himself—to save his own life, rescue Secret Service agent Taft (Kinnaman), and protect the nation.
‘The Beast’ is produced by Keith Kjarval, Wayne Godfrey, Nicki Cortese, Rob Van Norden, and John Logan Pierson, alongside Fifth Season. Aura Entertainment handles the film’s domestic theatrical release.
‘The Beast’ hits theaters on October 9.
