Acclaimed actress Sanaa Lathan has officially joined the cast of Sophia Banks’ upcoming thriller ‘Tilt,’ starring alongside the previously announced Briana Middleton and Kyle Allen.
The film follows Evie (Middleton), a struggling freelance reporter, and her cameraman Jake (Allen) as they chase a potential career-altering story amidst a devastating Los Angeles wildfire. Lathan will portray Maeve Paxton, Evie’s mother, who is present as Evie and Jake become entangled in a web of media manipulation and corruption while chaos erupts across the city.
Sophia Banks directs the independent movie from a script written by Arwen Elys Dayton. The project is produced by Damiano Tucci of Getaway Entertainment and Peter Winther, with Tamara-Lee Notcutt serving as casting director.
‘Tilt’ is currently in production in Los Angeles.
