The upcoming mystery-comedy ‘The Sheep Detectives’ looks to be a wild, star-studded ride!
The story follows shepherd George Hardy (Hugh Jackman), who reads murder mysteries aloud to his flock each night, assuming they can’t understand a word. He’s wrong. When George is found dead, the sheep quickly conclude it was murder and set out to solve the case themselves, convinced they know exactly how investigations work.
The film also features Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Tosin Cole, Emma Thompson, Hong Chau, Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Conleth Hill, and Mandeep Dhillon. The voice cast includes Regina Hall, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris O’Dowd, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein, and Rhys Darby.

‘The Sheep Detectives’ is directed by Kyle Balda, written by Craig Mazin, and adapted from Leonie Swann’s 2005 novel ‘Three Bags Full.’
Catch it in theaters on May 8.
