The official trailer for director David Fincher’s ‘The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth,’ written by Quentin Tarantino, offers a fresh look at Yahya Abdul-Mateen II alongside Brad Pitt.
Set in 1977 as a follow-up to Tarantino’s 1969 ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ the film picks up eight years after stuntman-turned-fixer Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) encountered the Manson family. Booth now takes on off-the-books jobs solving extortion, theft, and blackmail cases across Los Angeles.
Abdul-Mateen II stars as Roderick “Hot Rod” Harrison, a pro football champion turned screen star whom Booth encounters after receiving a call from talent agent Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki) on behalf of TV megastar Charlie Peters (Scott Caan). The ensemble cast also includes Carla Gugino as Toni, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, and more.
