Shannan E. Johnson Joins The University Of Houston's New Graduate Certificate In Film, Media Production, And Leadership Program

Former television executive and CEO + Head Consultant of The Professional Pen, Shannan E. Johnson, has joined the University of Houston's new Graduate Certificate in Film and Media Production and Leadership program as a recurring guest lecturer. Invited by Associate Director Dr. Greg Carter, Johnson will teach screenplay structure to emerging producers, helping strengthen their understanding of story development, collaboration, and the creative process.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience in television development, programming, and screenwriting education, Johnson continues to bridge the gap between Hollywood and higher education by preparing the next generation of film and television professionals.
