The incredible true story of how Sylvester Stallone bet on himself to write and play the lead character of Rocky Balboa against seemingly impossible odds. Stephan James plays Carl Weathers who is ultimately cast as Rocky’s boxing rival, Apollo Creed in the first two films of the Rocky Franchise. Creed later becomes Balboa’s trainer and closest friend in the films to follow.
