Taye Diggs And Tamar Braxton Star In New Thriller ‘Stepfather,’ Premiering On Tubi On June 19
Taye Diggs and Tamar Braxton are bringing Love and War to our screens this month in the upcoming Tubi thriller ‘Stepfather.’
The film centers on a seemingly charming man named Darnell (Diggs) on a quest to find his chosen family. When he marries widower Asia (Braxton) and takes on the responsibility of caring for her daughters (Kalani Jules and Jessica Jarrell), they all appear to be the picture-perfect family—until the smoke clears. Unsettling behaviors quickly begin to surface before dark secrets emerge, forcing them all to realize that Darnell isn’t the man he claims to be.
The film also stars Janeline Hayes, Dante Brown, Troy Brookins, TJ Shaw, Koda Kalani Beschen, and Elizabeth Dantus. Co-written by Marques Houston and Chris Stokes, who also serves as director, the project is produced by Stokes’ Footage Films, with Diggs and Braxton serving as executive producers.
