Would you stop to pick up a stranger on the side of the road? This question fuels the high-stakes drama in the upcoming thriller ‘The Passenger,’ starring Djimon Hounsou and Kodi Smit-McPhee in a heart-racing story about a quick buck taking a wrong turn.
Desperate to make ends meet, a Somali-American driver (Hounsou) agrees to transport a mysterious young man (Smit-McPhee) to Chicago for a cash payout. However, he soon realizes his rider is on a radical, dangerous mission—plunging them both into a deadly fight for survival.
From Vertical Entertainment, the film is written by Bennett Fisher and directed by Vadim Perelman.
